This healthy ginger shot with lots of vitamin C and antioxidants is a great way to support your immune system on a daily basis. You can also add it to your green juice in the morning to add that extra kick and make sure you get your dose of immunity boosting goodness.
Makes six servings or two small bottles
Ingredients: (preferably organic)
- 2-3 knobs fresh ginger
- 1 small knob fresh turmeric
- 2 lemons, peeled
- 1 tbsp manuka honey
- a dash of cayenne (optional)
- ½ cup water
Directions:
01. Strain the ginger, turmeric and lemons through a juicer.
02. Add the juice to a blender and mix in the manuka honey, cayenne and water. Blend until combined. Keeps up to 2-3 days in a glass bottle in the fridge.
