One of my favorite recipes and weekly family dinner staples because there is just nothing better than crispy fries. It’s also super simple and easy to make with maximal taste! Potatoes are such an amazing vegetable, so versatile and good for you with lots of fiber that keeps you full for hours, vitamin C and potassium.
Serves four as a side.
Ingredients: (preferably organic)
6-8 medium potatoes, washed with the peel on
1 tbsp avocado oil
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp pink Himalayan salt
Directions:
01. Cut the potatoes into wedges and place in ice water for at least 20 minutes. (key for crispiness)
02. Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper spread the potato cuts, drizzle with avocado oil and season with garlic powder, paprika & salt.
03. Bake for 50 minutes until golden & crispy, stirring halfway to get them to roast evenly.
