Chocolate Pistachio Dates

This is the healthy version of the viral Dubai chocolate and it’s the perfect no bake holiday treat! The dates contain lots of fiber to balance blood sugar levels, the dark chocolate is full of antioxidants and the pistachio provides healthy fats to make you feel your best during the festive season.

Ingredients: (preferably organic)

  • 12 dates, pitted & cut open lengthwise
  • ½ cup pistachio butter
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • ⅓ cup pistachios, shelled & chopped
  • Maldon flaky seas salt, for garnish

Directions:

01. Place the dates on a tray covered with parchment paper. Fill with pistachio butter using a teaspoon.

02. Meanwhile, melt the dark chocolate in a bain marie and once melted, dip each pistachio filled date in the chocolate.

03. Garnish with pistachio crumbles & flaky Maldon salt. Place in the freezer to set for at least two hours before serving. Keeps up to two weeks in the freezer in a closed container – even though I promise they will be gone earlier as they are so delicious!
