Smoothie bowls are the perfect light but nourishing breakfast. This blueberry oat one provides you with lots of antioxidants from the berries, plenty of plant-protein and healthy fats from the nut butter as well as iron and fiber from the oats. Feel free to vary and get creative with your toppings, that’s half the fun when making a smoothie bowl!
Ingredients: (preferably organic)
- 1 banana
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 2 tbsp GF oats
- 1 tbsp cashew butter
- ½ date
- 1 cup oat milk
Toppings
- ½ banana, in half-moons
- a handful berries of your choice
- 1 tbsp cacao nibs
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- a drizzle of nut butter
Directions:
01. Blend the banana, blueberries, oats, cashew butter, date and oat milk in a high speed blender until smooth.
02. Pour the mixture into a bowl and garnish with your toppings. Enjoy!
