Bruschetta al Pomodoro

Serves two- four

Ingredients: (preferably organic)

  • two large tomatoes/two handfuls of cherry tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • a few leaves basil, finely cut
  • a splash of olive oil
  • a dash of salt
  • black pepper, to taste
  • a few slices sourdough bread
  • more olive oil

Directions:

01. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees and place the bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle it with olive oil. Bake until golden.

02. Finely dice the tomatoes, mix in garlic, basil, salt, pepper & olive oil.

03. Arrange the bread slices on a platter and top with the tomatoes. Enjoy!
