I promise no one will ever guess what the secret ingredient in this chocolate mousse is! It’s so chocolaty, rich and creamy – so yummy! The secret beautifying ingredients are avocado, coconut and pure dark chocolate. The perfect dessert for those first few Spring outdoor dinners and the best: it only takes 10 minutes to make!
Serves four.
Ingredients: (preferably organic)
- 180g 85% dark vegan chocolate
- 2 avocados
- 1 can coconut milk
- 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- a pinch of vanilla seeds
- a pinch of salt
- berries, for garnish
- cocoa nibs, for garnish
Coco Whip
- 1 box Thai brand coconut milk
- a pinch vanilla seeds
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
01. Melt the chocolate in a hot water bath.
02. Add melted chocolate, avocados, coconut milk, cacao powder, maple syrup, vanilla seeds and salt to a high speed blender and blend until creamy.
03. Transfer the mousse to a bowl or individual containers and chill in the fridge for at least an hour.
04. Make the coco whip: combine coconut milk, vanilla seeds and maple syrup, mix well and chill in the freezer for 40 minutes, than transfer to the fridge.
05. To serve, top the chocolate mousse with coco whip, cocoa nibs and berries.
