New year, new you. To create lasting change, you have to find your WHY. Changing your health and lifestyle is not an easy task and requires commitment and discipline. Finding your deeper intrinsic reasoning of why you want to make those changes will create lasting transformation. When it starts to feel tough, this will be the thing that keeps you going on your path to becoming your best self.

Our obvious answers to these questions might often be focused on the outside like losing weight or wanting to have better skin. But what do these outer transformations mean for your inner self? You will become so empowered by being clear about what you want and putting in the work to get there. The process of setting yourself a goal and following through will give you confidence and motivation to make lifestyle changes that are lasting and sustainable. And ultimately, by implementing healthy habits you will feel your very best which is the highest reward to changing your life choices.

When I started out on this lifestyle, I wanted to find a way to nourish my body in abundance, I wanted to stop seeing food as a place of fear and restriction and heal my chronic skin eczema from the inside out. I can proudly say that I am in a place of nourishing my body with love, I am in love with my body and the food I eat and I healed my skin eating in an alkaline and plant-based way. Not only do I look my best, I feel my best too which is what keeps me going day after day making healthy choices and living a balanced life. 

No matter what it is – it’s so important to connect to the deeper reason of why you want this transformation to take place. This is where the magic happens.
